What is the best paint for kids?
Tempera paint for kids has got to be my favorite.
3 Reason Tempera Is The Best Paint For Kids
1. Bright and opaque colors
Watercolors are also a great paint for kids. The only thing I dislike about watercolor is that they typically look dull and light and watered down. Which is ok for some applications, but when you’re working with kids I’ve found that they have a lot more fun when the color goes down solid and extremely bright.
I admit to buying very expensive art supplies, just ask my wife. But when it comes to my kids and feeling comfortable with letting them use as much as they want…cheap is awesome! Tempera paint is one of the least expensive paints you can buy, which allows you to buy a lot more right?
3. Easy Cleanup
Ok, when it comes to painting, many times I’ll shy away from it just because it’s messy! Cleaning up a painting project can be just enough work you’ll swear to never do it again. Tempera to the rescue…ok it’s not going to stop painting projects from being messy, but it’s water based so clean up is much easier. When buying your paint, be sure the paint bottles say washable and you’ll get an extra level of safety.
Where To Buy Tempera Paint For Kids?
Not all products on Amazon are cheaper or comparable to buying them locally. With Tempera paint that’s not the case. I love ordering these from Amazon because the price is extremely competitive.
