How To Draw A Pumpkin For Thanksgiving

We’ve made a few pumpkins before (Jack O’Lantern, Paper 3D Pumpkins), but this how to draw a pumpkin is just for Thanksgiving. So we’ll be coloring it without a scary face.

Thanksgiving is a special holiday we love celebrating in our home. It’s the day we pay close attention to things we’re grateful for, oh and eat the best food ever.

I’m especially grateful for our art activities this year, because they’ve gotten me into the spirit of Thanksgiving much early than I usually am.

I’m grateful for:

  • All of you, our art friends. I really mean it too. Your kind words of encouragement and amazing drawings inspire us everyday.
  • My kids. I am grateful for each one of their unique personalities. They make me laugh and motivate me to become the best dad possible.
  • Last but not least, my wife. I’m truly grateful for her support too. When I have a tough day, she’s always there to pick me up.

While you’re working on drawing your own pumpkin, think about all the things you’re grateful for.
