How To Color A Butterfly With Watercolor Pencils

Today we’re showing off how to color a butterfly with watercolor pencils!

If you haven’t watched how to draw a butterfly on a flower, yet…be sure to watch that first.

In this lesson we used watercolor pencils and made copies of our original drawing. Many new printers have also have a scanner that allows you to make copies. If you have a scanner that’s separate from your printer you can do the same thing, you just need to make a scan first and then print. Also, you may need to test your printer ink when it gets wet. Some ink will bleed. We also made our copies on a mixed media paper, which is heavier than regular printer paper and is made to get a little wet.
