The holiday season, especially Christmas, is perfect time to focus on primary colors. More specifically, discussing how to get Christmas colors.
Red – Is a primary color and doesn’t need to be mixed.
Green – Is not a primary color and needs to be mixed.
In this lesson we started out with how to draw a candy cane, super easy for the little ones. Then we used watercolors to add color, then finished with a black marker. We also used watercolor paper, and cut the paper into quarters so we didn’t use as much (great money saving technique).
